‘An excellent read’ Martina Cole
‘A brilliant debut – gritty, dark and chilling. Noelle Holten knows her stuff’ Mel Sherratt
A dark and gripping debut crime novel – the first in a stunning new series – from a huge new talent.
The killer is just getting started…
When three wife beaters are themselves found beaten to death, DC Maggie Jamieson knows she is facing her toughest case yet.
The police suspect that Probation Officer Lucy Sherwood – who is connected to all three victims – is hiding a dark secret. Then a fourth domestic abuser is brutally murdered.

As a blogger seeing someone that was a blogger become published it always such a thrill. It is great to see someone who is part of the community get recognition and e able to publish something that will being pleasure to many.
I knew as soon as I heard that this book was picked up by a publisher that I just had to read it. I will say that I didn’t read anything about it when i agreed to take part in this tour.
The book doesn’t disappoint either. It is definitely not a story for the faint at heart. As a debut this is definitely going to be a contender for debut of the year.
What I like with this book is that the author comes from a place of authority with her background and you can tell that the information was planned out well and how she would show this in her book.
I found the story to be horror filled especially for the women who had been abused. I also found it a story of revenge and that kind of made me antsy tonsee just what was the cause of all of this.
I found that I was gripped from the first page and just wanted to see what was next. It definitely doesn’t feel like a debut novel to me.
It is so wonderful to be able to see someone who has been a very big part of the blogging community really come into her own and get the greatest chance to become a published author. Thank you for the opportunity to get in from the ground up on your journey.
Really looking forward to seeing lore from this author. 2nd book please come soon.
