March was a slower month for me but some of the books I have read were great and some made you really think.

The last book is by the author Jordan Elizabeth who is such a versatile writer who introduced me to Steampjnk genre. Since then has gone on to write many other books that injabe just found intriguing. Her latest book Castle of Blue Stones is a gripping book that took my breath away.

M.A. Comley delivered us another out of this world book with the third in the Sara Ramsey series. The Dead Can’t Speak was up there as one of my favourites if her books which is high praise as there isnt much that can beat her Hero Nelson series.

I started to read an old series by Janet Evanovich and her Stephanie Plum series. It was an eye opener and because the first book was so well done I had to go out and find more of this series.

Emma Pullar an author i met because of her fantasy style books has released a crime book and wow she really hit the mark. It’s not always easy to switch genre but she did it very well.

The book that has probably stayed with me the most is An Ordinary Man by Paul Rusesabagina which is all about his efforts to save people in Rwanda during the worst conflict that they had. His life and heroic nature had a movie made about it as well called Hotel Rwanda. The book is so hard to read and you have to really think of what happened and the gravity of the situation. The fact that this genocide happened in the 90s is what shocks me.

Sarah Denzil blee me away with her new book Only Daughter. I loved everything about this book and can’t wait to read more of this author.

Graham Smith also did it again with A Body in the Lakes which is wonderful there has yet to be a book of his that I haven’t liked.
