Description:
Pop music blares from the radio. She sings drunkenly from the backseat. The thrash of windscreen wipers against the driving rain. The screech of tyres. A thud.
Naomi and I are best friends.
School runs, dog walks, a shoulder to cry on over a glass of wine, we’re inseparable.
But now my husband has walked out, I need her more than ever.
I know she will help me pick up the pieces.
Because she knows about the lie I told to protect her.
She knows how much I’ve sacrificed for this friendship.
And she’d never let anyone hurt me.
Would she?
This extraordinary page-turner will suck you in from the very first page and keep you gripped until the breathtaking finale. Fans of The Wife Between Us, The Girl Before and Gone Girl will adore this twisted tale of toxic female friendship.

My Thoughts
This was my first foray into reading this author and it is one I don’t regret. The book while not as hugely fast paced as some that I read the novel had a pace that was great and I never felt that it was a slow book.
The characters were entertaining and I found that they were unlikable but that is with life as well some people you just can’t like. Also loved how interactive this book was and that you got to feel like you were part of it.
A good story is one which males you feel strongly and this certainly did that. I didn’t like the main characters finding the friendship to almost feel like it was abusive or manipulative at the least. The friendship wasnt good for either person and it just shows how people view different events.
Great job on the book and the cover is amazing. Thank you to the author and Bookouture for the advanced readers copy and allowing me to take part in the blogtour.
