While this book was good and had a lot of interesting stories mostly about conventions and even book events I really was hoping for more.
From the genius who dealt so much with humour in fantasy this book had a little of that but who wouldn’t want stories about the designing of one of the largest series that was Discworld.
The comments seem more for authors and how they should handle thing as well as for events. I like the stories about bookshops who had him do signings bit didn’t have a proper table or chair for him to use. You could tell in his story how exasperated he was with this but he was the consummate professional wanting to ensure his fans got what they were expecting.
What I really wanted was the story behind his stories. Who wouldn’t want to know how he created the world or the characters that have become so loved and part of the fabric of fantasy.
