Boulder is back.
Jake Boulder is working as a bartender, at an exclusive Vermont ski resort on New Year’s Eve, when armed terrorists hold up the lodge and take the guests hostage.
Trapped with the other hostages, Boulder watches in horror as the female terrorist leader disfigures a singer to make her point. He wants to fight back, but is unarmed and being held at gunpoint.
When Boulder finds a way to escape from the terrorists he searches for a way to raise the alarm. After he discovers the terrorists plan to leave no witnesses to their crime, he knows he has a race against time to save as many innocent people as he can…
But will Boulder be the reluctant hero and save the day?

A 4th book in one of my favourite series. It was hard to out a finger on just what I truly felt about this book.
Jake didn’t have the same drive to me in this book almost like he was beaten down by his past troubles which you have to read to understand.
I loved the new character Sharon as she seemed so feisty and would give Jake whatever help or hindrance she could. It made me smile a lot to read about her as she just had such a wonderful attitude in the book and was the star for me this time.
The story is wonderful with a pace that keeps moving steadily. There is no place to really slow down in this book its pedal to the metal in so many areas.
Jake Boulder is one of my favourite character and has such depth to him that I can’t help but like anything that he is in. It is always great to find a character who meshes with you and this is one of those.
Can’t wait I see what Boulder is up to next or what sticky situations he gets hooked into.
