We Other is her first book for Young Adults.
This book wasn’t the easiest to get into as I didn’t find it had the book for the opening chapter.
Despite being slow going at first it was pleasant read. I mean it was a different take which is good as i haven’t seen this type of story as much in the last few years.
I love fantasy and this I would class as urban fantasy which is one of the harder genres to really make work as you want to keep realism plus the magic alive and working in combination to one another.
The author worked her story well and while I can’t claim it is my favourite it really is a great book that shows off a different genre then many are used to.
I would read this author again to see more on how she would combine magic and realism. Great job.
