Today is my turn on The Promise blog tour by Casey Kelleher.

This book was vivid in the imagery and you really feel for the two little girls who have to deal with the locking up of their mother the only person that they ever had.

I didn’t really like any of the characters even the children seemed like they were against everyone.  That could be part of the upbringing with a former drug addiction for a mother.

This book made me feel very sorry for the girls but also glad that I could read this book.   It was a very large story that ended too fast for my liking.  I wanted more because I wanted to know what happened next.

One amazing book that makes you feel good and bad all at the same time.

Author Bio:

Born in Cuckfield, West Sussex, Casey Kelleher grew up as an avid reader and a huge fan of author Martina Cole.

Whilst working as a beauty therapist and bringing up her three children together with her husband, Casey penned her debut novel Rotten to the Core. Its success meant that she could give up her day job and concentrate on writing full time.

She has since published Rise and Fall, Heartless, Bad Blood, The Taken and her latest release, The Promise.
