Having family with dementia made this book hard to read as it brought some unpleasantness but it also got me to remembering the good times with those family members.
While the book deals with this truly heartbreaking disease it shows both sides. It deals with Oma who is living with this disease and shows just what she goes through on a daily basis.
Then it deals with the granddaughter who volunteers to live with her and take care of her.
It was a story that really showed the goodness in some and shows how people deal with this loss. Wonderful book and while not really the style I normally read was very happy with it
